SPEED is a Japanese female vocal and dance group consisting of four members: 島袋寛子, 今井絵理子, 上原多香子, and 新垣仁絵. All members are former students of 沖縄アクターズスクール. The group made its major debut on August 5, 1996, and disbanded on March 31, 2000. It later reunited several times for charity and other occasions, announced a full reunion in 2008, and resumed activities with a single in November of that year.
