MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 (MAJ), the international music award organized by CEIPA — a body founded by five of Japan's leading music industry associations — was held on June 13, 2026 at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO. Now in its second year, the ceremony expanded to 78 categories, with winners decided by roughly 5,000 music professionals. It is Japan's home-grown award built to spotlight Japanese and Asian music on the global stage.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE won Artist of the Year for the second consecutive year, while Sakanaction's "Kaiju" took Song of the Year.
